The National Weather Service announcements most people receive concerning an approaching tornado are provided via a City Siren, Weather radio or TV.  The Volo weather warning can be directed right to your land phone or your cell phone. Since your home or business is geocoded and the direction of the Tornado has been generally determined, the warning can be more specific and an excellent backup to other precautions you take.
