How can I be assured that I’ll get the coverage I need?
TRICOR represents many of the top life insurance companies available and currently provides coverage for several thousand families & businesses. We have been providing life coverage for many years and can help you select the right kind and amount to purchase.
How much insurance do I need?
It sometimes is not easy to determine just how much life insurance is needed. It’s important to buy enough so your family is protected, but you don’t’ want to overpay for insurance you may not need. At TRICOR, our trusted professionals can help you determine the amount of coverage needed.
One approach that has been used in the financial services industry for many years is called the Life Insurance Needs Analysis. This approach is based on replacing an amount of income needed for your surviving spouse and children.
What About Rules of Thumb?
The rule of thumb method is simply based on a multiple of your annual income. Since your financial situation is specific to you and different from your neighbor, there is no “rule of thumb” that can tell you with any certainty how much life insurance you should own.
You may have also considered buying only enough life insurance to cover a mortgage or other outstanding debt. While mortgage life insurance will pay off your mortgage, it will not provide a dependable income for your family.
One of our trained specialist will assist you to determine what coverage amount is suitable for your specific needs.
How much will I save?
Once we determine the amount of coverage that suits your needs, we will complete a rate comparison with all of the top carriers to provide you with the lowest rate available.
What kid of Insurance is right for me?
There are two basic types of life insurance available on the market today, Term Life Insurance and Permanent Insurance. Which one is for you? It may depend on how long you need the coverage for. If you have a temporary protection need, Term Life Insurance may be appropriate. If you expect to need life insurance for a longer duration, even for your lifetime, then you should consider Permanent Life Insurance. Term Life Insurance is often the choice for families as it costs less and the time needed can be determined based on how long it will be before the kids finish school and are then out on their own.
Term Life Insurance is intended for a specific period of time. Term Insurance offers the lowest initial premium expense. If your needs exceed the time specified in the term policy then permanent insurance may be an important option to consider. Permanent Life Insurance is intended to provide life insurance protection for an extended duration, even for your entire lifetime. Permanent Life Insurance offers guaranteed premiums and guaranteed cash values (accumulated as a result of your premiums). Some types can offer you cash value growth driven by the equity markets. While the premiums are higher than you initially would pay for the comparable amount of term insurance, over time the permanent life insurance cost may be lower than term insurance when your needs are for an extended period or for your lifetime.
